Gladiator Games is the screenplay adaption of the Award winning play of the same name. The play penned by Olivier Award winning writer Tanika Gupta premiered at The Sheffield Cruicible in Sept 2005 and continued in London at The Theatre Royal in Stratford in which it also came back for a second run in 2006 due to public demand. The play sold out, received critical acclaim and was nominated for numerous awards – including An 'Olivier' as part of the season at Stratford East.
Zahid Mubarek was a British Asian teenager who was brutally murdered by his cell mate on March 21st 2000, at the notorious Feltham Young Offenders Institute in South West London. He was already inside Feltham when his killer, 19 year old Robert Stewart – a known racist and psychopath was transferred to his cell. Why?
